Library
The library is the nerve centre of any educational complex. Due emphasis is, therefore, laid on encouraging the students to spend all available spare time in the library in addition to the specific hours provided for this purpose in the work schedule. The library is operated on the open access system providing books, journals and magazines on a wide range of subjects, for use by children during library periods. The library has over 11000 books ranging from fairy tales, encyclopaedias, fiction, science, religion, arts, architecture and general knowledge to cookery and health. The library subscribes newspapers, magazines and journals that provide current affairs.
Sports
The school has appointed coaches for various games. Training camps are held from time to time. Those who desire to play for the School and the House must register with the Physical Training Masters. The school has a big play ground and a FIFA TURF COURT for Football. Our students play different games viz.-

Computer Lab
Our aims at training and preparing the students for future challenges. In view of the fast changing socio-cultural context and the growing need for integrating technology, we here offer an intensive computer initiation and training to the learners. Another significant aspect of our computer training is to enable the learners to direct the computer learning towards evolving effective assimilation of knowledge. Through Multimedia and on-line Internet services, the school proposes to offer a vibrant and interesting global educational exposure to the learners.
Guidence and Counselling Center
Education primarily aims at learning life skills, knowing and realizing one’s own innate capabilities and thus empowering oneself, to live fruitfully and purposefully; and also to be helpful in promoting human values for welfare and happiness to all. Since the learner, here the student, is an integral part of the larger whole – the family, the society and the world, all dealings with the student is also an activity that necessarily involves the community. This means ,all those who came in contact with the learner, viz; the teachers, the parents and the community are all equal stake-holders in education. To inculcate values and to build up the necessary skills for the acquisition of right knowledge, it has thus become imperative to sensitize, involve, enlighten, empower and endear all the stake-holders, so that not only the empowering of the learner becomes effective and enriching but also the process becomes purposeful and fulfilling. Realizing that the parents, the teachers and the community as a whole have thus a major role to play in the education of the children, their overall growth and development, and their ultimate identification and integration with society , Arunodaya Public School, earnestly invites the active participation and involvement of the stakeholders especially, the parents the educationist, social workers and all those who are interested and involved in the healthy development and well being of children through its guidance and counselling centre. With a view to further motivate and encourage the friends of learner many theme focused orientation programmes, seminars and other education activities are being initiated by the school
Science Lab
The science lab of the school is utilized by the Elementary section to demonstrate all the relevant topics in the curriculum like – water behaviour, properties etc. Topics like human body, internal organs etc are also dealt with monstration are dealt with in the science labs. These includes :- solute-solvent-solution, lever-pulleys, plant parts, types of leaves, photosynthesis (stomata slide), types of roots and many more that are a part of the EVS curriculum. The lab activities are also extended into the class rooms at times where children in class 1 sow seeds and grow plants in the class itself.
Audio Visual Room
Our School has a well equipped and furnished audio video room. The main purpose of having this facility for students is the fact that whatever is seen by our eyes is retained by the brain more effectively than just reading or listening to it. Students get a live multimedia experience based on the topics they study in the theory classroom. Latest techniques such as Multimedia Projector, Digital cameras are being employed here. Students do not have to pay any extra fees for availing this facility. Presentations, Science Experiments, Geography projects, Historical places can be demonstrated on the big screen in the AV Room.
Smart Classroom
The school has introduced Smart Boards to make the Teaching – Learning process more interesting & effective. Smart Boards for Smart Children.
Transport Facilities
The school has made an arrangement with a Contractor to provide transport facility to the students. If interested a Form for the ‘Bus Facility’ has to be filled and deposited at the school’s Transport Counter. Routes are fixed and are available at the Transport Counter. Charges are fixed per route for a Term. respective of whether the students uses the Bus for single or return journey charges are subject to change depending upon the circumstances.
